We have the means now. So...why not compare?
I'll leave it up to Metabashi to put down M's stat's. Here are some of Zeph's. Certain skills will be represented by a number which I'll graph on a scale of 1-100.

Ki Branding-
Often referred to as "Ki controlled sorcery", ki branding is an art in which one draws trails in the air or on a surface to conjure specific effects. The seal and it's effect are manifestations of the users ki in actuality and can be extremely powerful depending on the users ki control and knowledge of the art. Expert user are said not to need their hands or anything physical to manifest a seal. They need only will it into existence and its effects can be reaped. Zephyr, before attaining said skill level, was well known for creating one in mid battle slowly with his feet disguising it as odd footwork.

Commonly used.
Protection Seal: A solid transmutation of ki energy capable of blocking and even deflecting certain attacks and projectiles. Generally used as a shield, it is roughly twice as hard as steel for the average person. Zephyr's protection seal is infamous for it's integrity only being broken on one occasion by Saint's Fallen Blade when he was fairly weakened.
Force Seal: Increases the force one can generate with strikes and physical work. Also can create a blast of pure kinetic energy to hurl objects or propel oneself.
Power Seal: Increases one's raw power or inner strength and can be attached to several different limbs to centralize the effects.
Destruction Seal: Zeph doesn't actually use this at full power most of the time because it's meant to shake loose or 'destroy' this connectivity between the body and soul. At full strength this is achieved by reducing the body to it's most basic components or dust.
Bind Seal: Used to seal away magic or other metaphysical power. Can also cause temporary paralysis.
Elemental Seals: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Darkness, Lightning. Used to manipulate and produce temporarily the manifestation of these elements.

Swordsmanship-
Zephyr is a renowned swordsman and has learned several different styles and mastering those which he uses most through hard work and an almost supernatural learning ability. His style is highly based on counters and striking just as his opponet prepares for theirs. It is in his first battle with Arson Flamberge (renowned for his superhuman speed obtained from his longtime affinity with fire) that this talent is first displayed. He is the first person in three years to actually strike Arson in training or competition. It's just as Arson is preparing for a kick to Zephyr's midsection that suddenly he feels the blunted blade Zephyr is wielding at the time catch him on top on the knee stopping his kick and giving a severe case of 'deadleg'.
Let it be noted that in swordsmanship, a move has never worked on Zephyr twice.
Zephyr's swordsmanship has been called as graceful as that of a fencer, with the precision and speed of a bushi, and the deadliness of a shinobi.
Hand-to-Hand-
Zephyr's skills in unarmed combat are quite notable (especially disarming ability). His ability to adapt his ki branding skills into his fighting creates a notable advantage in his fighting. This ability allowed him to keep up for short times with Arson Flamberge (who's fistfight rating would be an easy hundred even without augment). Let it also be noted that even with his rating at 86 and his strength at what it is Zephyr can punch holes in six inch concrete walls at this point with focus. His ki is VERY integrated into his unarmed combat in ways not only involving his ki branding.
Agility-
Zephyr's agility is ridiculous. I'm not going to lie. His reflex stat is so high because of this simple fact. At his peak Zephyr can move anywhere within his 'aura sphere' or 'outer aura' as it is explained in the story eventually. Basically, he can teleport dbz style within about a four foot radius. Since he's not at his peak, this radius is about a foot, but that easily enough move out of the way of a blade.

Techniques: These are some of the more noticeable techniques used by Zephyr.
Kiai Blast-The first technique using outer ki Zephyr learns. This releases his internal power and ki creating a blast of unseen energy (when used as a child). He used this to break through opponent's defenses and when attacking used it to create overwhelming force behind his attack. As an adult his ki has increased dramatically and when this techniques is used it is seen as an erupting light blue flame (same blue as his eyes) and white lightning.
Moushohakkei- Mousho meaning 'intense heat' and hakkei meaning 'release internal power'. When Zephyr had a sword which needed sheathing he would reinforce the sheath with his ki carving fire symbols and bind seals over them to make the sheath resistant to his own ki. While the blade was sheathed he would channel as much fire energy into it as possible. When finally he'd gathered as much as possible he would strike lashing the sword from it's scabbard with the force and speed of a shotgun blast causing a mid-range fireball to shoot forth with the super charged attack.
Monosugoi-ken. Zephyr uses an earth seal to move at light speed underground. He makes his way swiftly under or behind the opponent usually. Then using several other seals bursts forth from the ground causing the force of an earthquake with an upward strike like the eruption of a volcano. This is the Earth Shattering Blade. He is usually propelled upward by a fast rising pillar of earth.
Shimanagashi- Exile or Banishment. Zephyr uses his body as a conductor for the Orb of Purity that is housed within the Seraph Blade to fuse both the Holy Sword and the Mirror Blade. This temporarily splits the blade into two allowing Zephyr to use this technique. It involves a block or parry with one weapon and using the other to trap it in a pinch like grip. The tricky thing is, his blades are crossed. He then turns all the weapons sideways and, with enemy weapon still in grip, slides up on them to the hilts of both his blades and uncrosses his swords through his enemy's throat, fingers, and chest while moving in the direction of their sword arm to avoid an outward swing in death. Traditionally, this was invented and believed to banish demons. Cutting the throat for decapitation and preventing them from 'breathing new life', cutting off the fingers to prevent their grip on this world and their ability to use weapons, and then the chest and heart to end their current life.
Inabikari-Flash of Lightning. Channels the properties of lightning into his body for less than a second. Zephyr pulls the blade from his sheath leaving the sheath in midair and dashes his blade through the opponent three times before grabbing the scabbard and sheathing his blade causing the lightning from his ridiculously fast attack to disperse and shock his opponent.
Sokushi-Instant Death. A physical technique where Zephyr turns his blade around connecting with the opponents blade against the handle at which point he pivots both his body and the sword around their blade driving the cutting edge against their head or neck. If fighting a human, Zephyr will strike down on their shoulder or hands as not to kill them.
Purification Blade- Long range projectile blade launched through the air that cut through demons or cause intense pain to anyone with malevolent intent. The more angry or violent, the worse the pain. Can be so bad that it sends the body into shock or causes limbs to go completely lifeless temporarily.
Angel Blade-The manifestation of the Seraph Blade's holy power into a highly concentrated energy blade reaching two hundred yards at max output. This (if long enough) is powerful enough to cut the earth itself in two. Very few things stand up to it's power.
Purge-With the Seraph Blade at max output, Zephyr uses his Kiai Blast technique from childhood coating the energy in vivid blue flames and lightning and increasing it's power dramatically putting his synchronization with it as high as possible. The flames spread onto whatever the blade strikes causing damage equal almost to that of the initial strike.

Weaknesses- Raw power somewhat low by itself, compassion, though powerful he is still learning and can be surprised, won't give up, slight dependance on seraph blade.

Now, I wouldn't have bothered with this match up if I though Zeph didn't stand a chance. He's my character so I'd never count him out completely. Also, no offense to Bashi, but no way I'm voting against myself. I do have some pride in my creations as I'm sure he does as well.
All in all, they are both worthy opponents indeed!
