A scrawny boy with brown hair and eyes leaned over a counter. Steamy water poured from the faucet over his hands, burning them. He didn't care. It calmed him, released the tension welled inside him.
"Hey!"
He heard a jubilant shout from behind him. Reluctantly, he glanced up into the cracked mirror and saw three figures enter the bathroom behind him. Two grabbed him by the shoulders and smashed his face into the faucet. He screamed, crumpling to the floor. All three boys were not much older than him, yet they were much stronger. The middle one, a blonde haired boy, grabbed him by the front of his shirt, yanking him off the ground.
"Where were you yesterday runt? I thought we told you to wait at the bus stop." he taunted.
"Leave me alone." the boy said in a cold unfeeling voice.
They all laughed.
"You want some alone time, is that it brat?" the thug asked. Then he punched him in the face.
"Too f*cking bad! Your policeman father locked my dad in jail." He snarled. The bully let the boy fall to the ground, who was clutching his bleeding nose. The boys started kicking him.
"C'mon little bastard, fight back." They laughed. Tears flowed from his eyes. Then, a voice in his head.
This is enough. Seven years. We've tolerated this long enough. No more. They shall pay.
One of the boys ceased. He gargled in his throat as a squelching ripping sound echoed through the bathroom. The others looked at him. His head was cleanly separated from his shoulders and had landed with a splash in the gathering pool of blood.
It splashed onto the boy's face. He rose, licking it off from around his lips, which were formed into a maniacal grin. The other two looked for only a moment in sheer terror. Mouths agape, eyes wide, breathing shallow. They turned tail and ran. One made it out the door. The other didn't. He stopped, hovering in midair screaming. Squishing and crunching sounded as gaping holes seemingly bored themselves through his torso. Then his body flew apart, splattering across almost every concievable surface of the room. Silence loomed, broken occasionally by drips of blood from the ceiling. The boy coldly smiled. He jerked his head up. Every microscopic trace of the bodies scraped itself off and condensed into a hovering ball of flesh. The concrete ceiling opened up like a vortex, admitting the ball to rise into it. Once hidden above, the concrete reformed. Leaving an unmarked smooth surface behind.
Briskly, the boy glided out of the bathroom and into the hall seeing the last survivor as he turned down a flight of stairs. The panicked youth ran. Not stopping to catch his breath, constantly looking over his shoulder. He looked behind him to see a wraithlike shadow moving with incredible speed down the staircase. He kept running. All the while he watched as the boy came closer. Then his limbs froze. His body froze. Everything but his organs froze as the boy overtook him and came to stand in front of him.
"please" he pleaded through clenched teeth. That's when his heart burst from his chest, tearing through his bone and skin.
He fell to the ground. Motion ceased, his body went cold. Nothing but the dark empty silence of the school was left. Almost autonamously, the body was buried in the lawn of the school. 20 feet below the building itself, leaving no traces behind. Zipping up his blue hoodie, the boy walked through the snow back into the school. A malicious grin sweeping across his face.
